Our new credentialed Diabetic Educator, Mrs Sue Quirk (RN, CDE) offers services to our patients every second Tuesday afternoon.
Sue Quirk has also a postgraduate in nutrition & has worked in this area (Glen Waverley, Mooroolbark, Rowville) for over 15years.
Initial appointments require a 40 minute consultation , with follow up appointments needing a 20 minute appointment.
Our Practice nurse, Naomi provides a valuable service to our patients who have asthma or COPD, and offers asthma action plans, COPD support and care planning, and spirometry as part of her expanded service to our patients.
Our Practice Nurse, Bernadette provides assistance with Mental Health Care Plans in conjunction with our patients treating doctor.
The co-operation & team work between the Doctors, Patients & Specialist Nurses can help improve treatment of chronic healthcare conditions such as Diabetes & Asthma & certain Mental health issues.
