Billing Information

The Swansea Rd Clinic BULK BILLS all Repatriation & all full pension & old age pension card holders as well as patients who are 80 yrs and over.

Children 0 to 15 years (inclusive) are BULK BILLED

 Health Care Card Holders  & patients between 16 & 18 years of age are charged a discounted fee.

All other patients are charged the surgery fee.

 The standard Private fee is $70. An accounting fee of $15 will be charged if the account is taken without payment on the day.

On Saturdays & public holidays the $85 fee will be applied for those not qualified to be bulk billed. Please note that with there is a larger medicare rebate for these days. Full payment for Saturday consultations is expected.

Payment is expected at the time of consultation and can be made by eftpos, credit card or cash. The only cheques accepted are Bank or Medicare cheques or postal orders made payable to attending doctor.

Easyclaim online is available to all full paying clients who have registered their bank account details at a Medicare office.

Prescriptions require an appointment

After prior arrangement with your Dr, Requests for prescriptions or a Referral letter without the need for an appointment will cost $15 payable at the time of collection.

All Forms left for a Doctor to complete will need an appointment.

Transfer of Medical Files Fee

Swansea Rd Clinic requests that before any Medical Histories are transferred that all outstanding accounts are paid. This includes all accounts payable to the doctors. An administrative fee may also be charged. This fee relates to the time taken in the collation of your medical history & the printing & registered postage costs.
Payments by cash, credit card, eftpos, postal money order or bank cheque (made payable to attending doctor). Payment is expected at the time of consultation.
