Mirena IUD’sAn effective low cost form of long term contraception (5 years) is suitable for women who have given birth naturally. It can be used to control heavy menstrual bleeding. Dr Yeo is qualified to perform this procedure which requires a double appointment. When making the double appointment please advise reception that it is for mirena iud insertion. SclerotherapyTreatment for small for small unsightly veins most commonly found on the legs. These veins serve no purpose. Sclerotherapy consists of repeated injections of a solution into these veins. VaccinesChildhood Immunisation From March 2008 alterations to the Immunisation schedule have occurred. Rotavirus Vaccine is free from July 1st 2007 for all babies born before may 1st 2007. The vaccine is given in a 3 dose course with the other scheduled vaccines given at 2, 4 & 6ths of age. Gardasil Vaccine is free for all women who have left school & not received the vaccine as part of the school program. All other women need to be between the age of 18years to 27years. After June 30th 2009 the vaccine may not be funded by the Government. Prescriptions ordered over the phoneRepeat scripts ordered over the phone require details to be left on voicemail/reception & WILL BE READY TO BE PICKED UP IN 3 WORKING DAYS. A FEE of $5 will apply.All other scripts require an appointment (including Authority Scripts, scripts for antibiotics or scripts requiring blood pressure & other health checks.)
