Swansea Rd Clinic has been very fortunate to employ skilled & loyal Medical Receptionists. Many have been with us for more than 8 years and all bring a variety of skills & experience to our team. One receptionist has been with us since the surgery opened in 1993.

Meet our Receptionists  

Kathleen Molnar

Kath's background as a Dental Nurse & her past experience as a medical receptionist enabled her to expertly assist in the establishment of the surgery from it's inception in 1993. Kath has enjoyed long service leave and fortunately for us, returned ,working 4 days a week. Needless to say she is an integral part of our team.

Catherine Stoney

Catherine worked as a Dental Nurse for 10 years prior to gaining experience as  Medical Receptionist . She commenced work at this surgery in 1999 & works 5 days a week. Catherine is a reliable & loyal team member who has been with us for 11 years. Catherine completed the sterilisation & disinfection course which enables her to assist with autoclaving medical  instruments.

Andra Hodge

Andra spent 18 years in Medical Administration at a large Radiology Centre before joining us in 2000. Andra's skills in administrative duties including her attention to detail are invaluable . Andra also assists with reception duties.

Shae Mankey

Shae commenced as a work experience student whilst studying certificate 2- Medical Reception. In 2000, she joined our team & has since completed Certificate 3 in Pathology Collection 2008. Shae's positive attitude & warm personality are appreciated by all who have contact with her.

Bettina Binkert

Bettina's background as a Medical Technician from Switzerland and her ability to communicate with our german speaking patients have made her a valued member of our team. Bettina has been working at the surgery since 2003

Kris O'Brien

Kris's background in the hospitality industry enabled her to bring these important skills into the role of a medical receptionist. Kris joined the reception team in 2005 & assists in Reception duties both at the surgery & allied health centre. Kris is also managing the culling/storage of hard copy medical files- a long & laborious but important task, as we strive to become"paperless".

Cheryl Tarr

Cheryl has completed stages 1, 2 & 3  of Business Medical Administration & has past experience as a medical receptionist .Cheryl joined us in 2007 & has completed the sterilisation & disinfection course enabling her to assist with autoclaving medical instruments.

Jess Mangan

Jess commenced as a work experience student whilst studying certificate 2- Medical Administration. In 2009 Jess joined our receptionist team. Her bright & friendly demeanour & her eagerness to learn have made her a welcome member of the surgery.

Rene Davies

Rene commenced work through our partnership with the WISE program . During her rehabilatation (upper limb injury) she completed courses in computer , Cert 4 Pathology collection & Medical Terminology & Anatomy.This greatly assisted Rene in returning to the workplace in 2003 as a medical receptionist at our Allied Health Centre where Rene is a valued team member.

Meet our Practice Manager

Jenny Yeo (B.Appl Sc. Occ.Therapy) worked as an Occupational Therapist in paediatrics & adult rehabiliation prior to helping establish Swansea Rd Clinic in 1993.The transition to Practice Manager was assisted by her experience working in multi-disciplinary teams as on O.T.  Jenny is a member of AAPM (Australian Association of Practice Managers)
